Blank dice

4 09 2011

I write on blank dice with whiteboard markers in a variety of situations. Percentages, fractions, algebra, ratios, decimals etc.

Two dice are thrown and multiplied. For example 1.1 x -3 = -3.3 etc.

For algebra you can choose an operation and then throw two dice to achieve the numbers to operate with. When the students become more proficient, the die with all the operations on different sides can be thrown as well. Then there will be a different operation each time.
