Pythagoras Theorem

Today in Year 8 the students used 2 dice to generate the sides of a right- angled triangle, to drill Pythagoras Theorem. They worked in groups of four.

The first drill was to find the length of the hypotenuse. This meant either die could either of the shorter sides.

When finding the unknown shorter side they used the higher number as the hypotenuse.
