A Look Inside the Classroom of the Future by Dana Mortenson

My Principal emailed the link to this article this morning.

He noted that it is entirely focused on pedagogic space without mention of physical space. That is the driving force of a passionate teacher. We are happy to teacher anywhere. We just want the students to learn the most they possibly can. 

I’m left reflecting how to better incorporate the visible thinking routines into my Mathematics classroom. I don’t believe I talk regularly enough about how I used to think, compared to how I now think. I also need to make this language part of the conversation of my students. 

Teaching is constantly changing because the students are constantly changing because the world we live in is constantly changing.
